If you’re holidaying in Biscarrosse this year, you won’t be short of things to do. Here a list of just some of the top things to see and do in Biscarrosse.

1. Wakeboarding

BiscaWake run wakeboarding trips out of Port Navarrosse, Biscarrosse. Hire the boat and driver/instructor for a morning or afternoon session, or both.

2. Surfing

Biscarrosse Plage is a great surfing beach. A mellow break break that’s fun for beginners and the more seasoned surfers alike. A lively beach town in high season.

3. Bike Rides

Biscarrosse has a network of cycle tracks that connect Biscarrosse Ville, Biscarrosse Lac and Biscarrosse Plage. Perfect for riding your bike, Go-Ped or motorised skateboard.

4. Quad Biking

Ride quadbikes round the sandy pine forest tracks at Bisca-Quad. Fun for all the family.

5. Horse Riding

Go horse riding through the pine forests at the Biscarrosse equestrian center.

If you are looking for a place to have a leisurely chilled-out drink and a bite to eat of an evening, Le Golfy next door to Les Ecureuils Campsite is definitely worth a visit, nestled amongst the fragrant pine trees with it’s warm colourful hibiscus bar area and cool laid back Caribbean inspired music you can quite easily while away a whole evening. We shared a nice house red and a very tasty pizza, and the friendly staff don’t mind if you are in no hurry to leave. They are open to the early hours, I’m told. They also have a little mini golf amongst the trees to keep the kiddies occupied, hence the name Le Golfy.
